Madison Park Technical Vocational High School admits students to its Chapter 74 Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in Grades 9, 10, and 11. Admission follows a district-approved process and timeline, including a weighted lottery if applications exceed the number of available seats.
Step 1 | Submit Madison Park Application
Complete the required online application by the February 13.
Step 2 | Complete a Student Awareness Opportunity (Required)
Every applicant must participate in ONE of the following to demonstrate awareness of Career & Technical Education (CTE):
Students with incomplete awareness requirements will be notified and given an opportunity to complete one.
Step 3 | Complete the BPS School Choice Form
Students must also submit a Boston Public Schools Choice Form.
If Madison Park Technical Vocational High School is truly your first preference, select it first on the choice form.
Note for Out-of-District Students: Students attending charter, private, or independent schools must first register with Boston Public Schools before completing this step. To start the registration process and view required documents, please visit the BPS Registration Information Page. If you have any questions or need assistance with registration, you should contact a BPS Welcome Center and a registration specialist will be able to assist you.
NOTE FOR NON-BPS SENDING SCHOOLS
Non-Boston Public Schools should submit official attendance and conduct records for any student applying to Madison Park Technical Vocational High School. These records are required to determine lottery weight and must be received by February 13.
