The Automotive Technology program provides students with knowledge of the principles and fundamentals of automotive technology as well as the technical skills necessary to perform various tasks required of a professional automotive technician. These skills meet the National Automotive Technical Education Foundation (NATEF) Standards.
Automotive Technology students are prepared to handle the responsibilities of maintaining and managing an automotive repair shop. Students acquire the skills necessary for prioritizing vehicle repairs and designing schedules that reflect customers’ demands, as well as the use of electronic diagnostic equipment.
