In Freshman year students explore all vocational programs to find the program that best suits the student. Upon entering the Collision Repair program students will learn all aspects of shop safety. Students will also learn about career opportunities and be introduced to all hand tools, power tools and materials used in the Auto Collision trade.

In Sophomore year students will continue to learn about all hand and power tools and will expand their knowledge by completing repairs and refinishing on practice panels. Students will be introduced to sheet metal repair, using body fillers, using various collision repair materials,  automotive construction, and introduced to structural and non-structural repairs.

In Junior year, students will learn and work on all aspects of painting, painting related equipment. dent repair, panel replacement, MIG welding , and plastic repair. Students will also begin working on customer cars, or “live” work to simulate a real-life shop experience. Juniors can also be eligible for co-op in the 3rd term.

In their Senior year, students will focus on more complicated and involved subjects such as Glass repair and replacement, frame straightening and repair, structural panel replacement and repair, estimating, and measuring a vehicle. Seniors can become eligible for co-op in the 2nd term. Seniors will also produce a capstone project to showcase their knowledge and understanding of the automotive collision field.
