About Our School

Welcome to Madison Park Technical Vocational High School!

Madison Park Technical Vocational High School is the only school in Boston that exclusively prepares its students for both careers and postsecondary education upon graduation. As an urban career technical school, MPTVHS strives to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students it serves. MPTVHS’s unique pairing of academics and career technical education (CTE) provides greater opportunities for students to link academic content to their respective career technical programs of study in a more meaningful and intentional manner that produces deeper learning and brings a deeper sense of relevancy to the core content areas.

Utilizing recognized industry standards for equipment, workmanship, and safety, MPTVHS works closely with industry leaders in the fields of construction, transportation, technology, health, human services, and communication to prepare the next wave of highly-skilled professionals. Authentic, hands-on work experiences in their chosen career fields heighten our students’ interest, skills, and knowledge, making them extremely marketable to future employers.
