Born and raised in Roxbury, Ricky Bell’s incredible journey from the heart of Boston to international fame reflects the city’s rich cultural roots and the fantastic talent that continues to shine from its neighborhoods. As one of the pioneers of modern R&B, Bell’s artistry, hard work, and authenticity have inspired generations worldwide.
This unforgettable celebration honored not only his groundbreaking musical career, but also his positive impact on Boston’s community and youth—including the students of Madison Park!
